Osa Peninsula, Golfo Dulce
The most biologically intense place on earth
Tour Description
A Tropical Fjord, one of only 4 tropical fjords on the planet.

Golfo Dulce has an area of 680 square miles and the deepest waters in Costa Rica, reaching 200 meters in low oxygen ice cold waters.

The most pristine primary forest  in Central America completely covers the shoreline. The Gulf receives the clean waters from all the rivers in the area, this and the poor exchange of water with the main Ocean made the gulf very rich in plankton.

This big protected Gulf offers a paradise for Whales from the open sea, encounters with whales are common most of the year. Home of 26 resident and migratory whales and dolphins, this is the meeting point for Humpback Wahles from the Northern and the Southern Hemisphere.

The only place on earth where you can see schools of shark whales, generally a solitary animal.

From low oxygen ice cold waters to coral reef, passing through mangroves and river mouths, miles and miles of unspoiled beaches.
